THOMPSON GEOFF RAF (Rtd). Died after a short Illness on Friday September 21st 2018, aged 76 years. Widower of the late Barbara, much loved father of Elizabeth and Katherine, grandfather of William, Alexandra, Charlotte and Patrick. Following 34 years in the RAF as a navigator he retired to Exeter in 1998. He was involved in the CAB, the RBL, The East Devon Aircrew Association, Exeter Chiefs, Exeter Probus, The Digby Residents Association and Exeter Cathedral where he became a benefactor to the homeless and St Petrocks. Funeral Service will be held at the Cathedral Church of St Peter on Wednesday October 10th at 2.30pm. Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of Geoff are for Exeter Hospiscare, which may be left by retiring collection at the service, or sent c/o David Albery, Exeter & District Funeral Service, 210 Topsham Road, Exeter, EX2 6AA. 01392 433551.
