Exmouth's National Trust property A la Ronde is looking for new volunteers.

Anyone with six hours a day to spare on one day a week is invited to become part of the team, who welcome visitors, tell stories of the house's history, and help maintain the grounds. 

Denise Thomson, the National Trust's business services co-ordinator for A la Ronde, said: "There are lots of reasons to join us, including meeting new people from all walks of life and forging new friendships, expanding your skills and learning new ones, strengthening your CV and helping to develop your career.

"If you enjoy the great outdoors or will enjoy learning about the history of this special place, there is a role for you. You’ll be helping to care for nature and history for many others to enjoy. Making the move to volunteer could be the best decision you ever make."
