An Exmouth-based author will be hosting a kids' story time at Greendale Farm Shop this World Book Day.
Debra Wellington will read her children's book The Animal Says on Friday, March 3 between 4.30pm and 5.30pm.
Debra will be bringing the animals to life with fun facts about each one and there'll be audience participation with the animal sounds.
Tickets are £10 per child, which will include a Greendale packed lunch for the children served after the book has been read. Lunch is provided with the ticket cost.
Debra will also be signing copies of 'The Animal Says' should anyone like to purchase one.
Debra Wellington has visited more than 20 schools and nurseries since her book was published in August 2021 which she says has been a lot of fun.
Debra has more author visits booked for this year and is currently working on a second book.
