A plant sale organised by East Budleigh in Bloom raised nearly £1,100 towards the group's work making the village look beautiful.
The sale was held on Saturday, May 20 at the village hall.
David Conner, treasurer of East Budleigh in Bloom, said: “Our plant sale was blessed by glorious weather and was very well attended by people from the village and the surrounding area.
"Outside the hall we sold all manner of plants - flowers, vegetables, shrubs and even small trees - that had been grown and donated by our members and supporters. In addition, we had a stall selling garden paraphernalia.
"Inside the hall we served tea with a large selection of scones and cakes made and donated by our supporters. All in all, a great day and much enjoyed by all who attended it.
"We raised nearly £1,100, all which will be spent on making the village a colourful place with extensive planting in planters, railing baskets and beds."
