Dinan Way is closed both ways due to a two-vehicle collision this afternoon (Monday, September 4).

Devon and Cornwall Police Traffic Watch reported the incident at 12:30pm and says the road is currently closed from Byron Way to Jubilee Drive. Traffic is coping well.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called at 12.20pm and sent two appliances from Exmouth.

"The collision involved a pickup truck and an electric car.

"The drivers of both vehicles were given precautionary checks by the ambulance service. We stabilised the vehicles and made them safe."
