A 91-year-old woman has taken part in a 100-mile virtual rowing event to raise funds for charity.
Ann Dimmock, a resident at Watermeadow Grange care home, Topsham, helped to raise more than £300 for Children in Need and the Royal Marines.
She was joined by 28 care home residents, staff, residents’ family members and two Exeter Chiefs.
The marathon was completed over 25 hours on two static rowing machines.
Ms Dimmock, who participated three times, said: "I really wanted to take part in this event as I like to participate in everything I can and to keep as fit as possible.
"This rowing challenge enabled me to do this whilst trying to raise money for two very worthy causes.
"I thoroughly enjoyed the day and when I wasn’t rowing I was cheering on all the other enthusiastic rowers."

Home admissions advisor, Selina Sapsford, said: "It was such good fun and an amazing team effort.
"It took us quite some time as the care home staff were working and rowing when we got the chance.
"The night staff even managed to fit in a row at 2.30am.
"Huge thanks go to the Royal Marines and Caroline Newman, daughter of one of our residents who lent us the rowing machines - and to Exeter Chiefs’ Community Delivery Manager, Tom Steer, and Community Development Coach, Olly Hale, for rowing with us."
Watermeadow Grange is part of the Cinnamon Care Collection on Bewick Avenue.
