Exmouth Garden Club has re-elected it's chairperson for a second year in the role, with ambitions of growing the club.
Keen to enhance the club's popularity, Jane Murphy intends to improve members' benefits by securing Royal Horticultural Society affiliated society member status for the club by February 1.
The 2024 speaker programme, supported again by Greenfingers Garden Centre, has also been released on the club’s website.
Julian Sutton, who runs Desirable Plants in Totnes, is the first speaker with his session, titled "A Dream of Winter", celebrating plants which flower as winter ends and spring begins.
Upcoming sessions include an overview of National Gardens Scheme in Devon in February and a "Houseplants 101" talk in March.
Membership remains at £20 annually or £4 per meeting for visitors.
Each meeting stars at 7.30pm on the last Thursday of the month in the church hall at St John the Evangelist Church in Withycombe Village Road, offering on-site parking.
