Queen's Drive is still closed to traffic from the RNLI station to Orcombe Point after sand and debris was whipped up onto the road from last week's Storm Isha.
Lots of sand is on the road leading up to the RNLI station and the road is treacherous. It has now been a week since Storm Isha hit Devon last weekend and brought strong winds.
EDDC said they are now working to clear the sand along the roads and paths on Exmouth seafront, following a few spells of strong wind and rain.
You cannot currently drive to Orcombe Point and access Foxholes Car Park by car, the pavement is still open for pedestrians and cyclists. It is unclear yet when the road will re-open to traffic.
A spokesman for EDDC said: "Devon County Council is taking the lead, with East Devon District Council’s help, to return the sand to the beach using the ‘Storm Recovery’ fund from central Government.
"The priority will be on the stretch from the RNLI down to Orcombe Point, with attention also on the stretch from Mickeys to the RNLI.
"EDDC will also be looking to pull back the sand on the beach, in the near future, to stop it blowing over the wall again."
