Exmouth firefighters will walk 33 miles of the Jurassic Coast in full kit to raise money for local charities.
The fire crew hopes to reach a donation target of £500 for The Fire Fighters Charity and Devon Mind.
The idea was conceived by Firefighter Tribble late last year.
The number 33 was chosen because that is Exmouth's station number.
The event will take place on April 27 and they aim to complete it in between 12 and 15 hours.
This physically demanding challenge has an added twist as the firefighters will be donned in full firefighting gear, including breathing apparatus.
Devon Mind is a local charity that offers essential support for mental health, and The Fire Fighters Charity aids firefighters with injuries, visible and invisible, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Through first-hand experiences, Exmouth Fire Station crew have witnessed the effects of mental health issues on individuals and their families.
The funds raised from this strenuous trek will go directly towards enhancing the lives of those suffering from mental health problems.
A spokesperson for Exmouth Fire Station said: "We need your support to make this endeavour worthwhile.
"By donating to our cause, you'll be directly contributing to the well-being of those who need it most.
"Every pound counts, and together, we can create a brighter future for individuals facing mental health struggles."
