Organisers of the Big Breakfast in Budleigh Salterton on Saturday, May 25 are expecting a large turnout.
The event, in aid of Cancer Research UK, takes place at the Public Hall with the first breakfasts to be served at 9am. Tickets will be sold on the door.
Sue Hunt, the branch secretary and events manager, said: "It’s a good idea to be there early as we always have a queue.”
The first full English Breakfast, priced at £10 or £5 for children under 10, includes fruit juice, cereal and toast; fruit, tea or coffee – followed by egg, bacon, sausage, baked beans, fried bread, mushrooms and tomatoes. Last orders will be at 11.30 am. Those wanting a lighter breakfast can opt for a Danish pastry accompanied by tea or coffee, priced at £5.
There will also be a raffle and cakes for sale.
Sue said: "Hurry to be part of the Big Breakfast. It is an excellent start to the day and at the same a great way to support the work of Cancer Research UK.
"You can then join in with any of the many other events sponsored by the Lions as part of Gala Week - let's hope the sun shines!"
