New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seventeen places to eat in East Devon, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
Establishments rated five stars include Chantry Bridge (Colyton Youth FC); Chris's Cafe at Seaton Tackle Shop, Jurassic Discovery in Seaton, Railway Kitchen in Axminster, and the Barrel Of Beer in Beer.
Brightside, at Yarcombe, Honiton, was also given the maximum score after an assessment.
Others rated five are Liddens Dairy Tearoom at Liddens Farm, Colyton, Woodbury Primary School, Red Lion at Broadclyst and Spot On Kiosk in Seaton.
Other places rated five-star are KFC on Imperial Road in Exmouth, The Loft at 5 Old Fore Street in Sidmouth, Palm on Rolle Street in Exmouth and The Holt in Budleigh.
Silver Sea House, a takeaway at 62 Exeter Road, Exmouth, was given a four-star out of five score after assessment on April 25.
Cinnamons, at South Street, Axminster, was given a four-star out of five score after assessment on April 23.
Spoken at 43 The Strand, Exmouth, was given a ONE food star rating on April 18.
