A TEENAGER has admitted supplying MDMA to a group of youths including a 16 year old schoolgirl who died in a nightclub.
A second teenager also appeared in court charged with the same joint offence but did not indicate a plea to the count.
The two 18 year old youths appeared for the first time before Exeter magistrates court
Taylor Rowsell, of Rosebery Road, Exmouth, Devon, admitted between November 23rd and December 3rd 2022 being jointly concerned in the supply of MDMA to a number of other youngsters.
James Greaves, previously of Basset Road, Camborne, but now of Hatt, near Saltash, did not indicate a plea to the same joint charge.
Lucy Hill, 16, died in December 2022 after taking MDMA, otherwise known as ecstasy, and collapsing at the Move nightspot on Exeter quay.
At the time police said a number of teenagers may have taken tablets containing unknown substances during the club's 16-18 music night..
District Judge Stuart Smith said their cases will next be heard before a judge at Exeter Crown Court next month. Both defendants were granted conditional bail.
