Exmouth Stroke Survivors Club is hosting a community event at All Saints Church, Exmouth.
The event, set to be held on August 14 from 10am until 2pm, will emphasise the importance of local connections for aiding community groups and organisations.
Steve from the club said: "There many groups in East Devon who love to make that connection to their community but don't know, believe it or not, there are big groups out there who are really struggling."
The Exmouth Stroke Survivors Club meet on Monday and Wednesday from 10am to 2pm.
The club is a great place for people who have survived a stroke to get together, share and discuss their experiences.
They often host trips out and events, as well as host guest speakers.
