A woman from Exmouth has pleaded guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm during an assault on another female.
Ellie Leefmans, aged 25, of Cheshire Road, Exmouth, admitted assaulting Jasmin Newman on March 20 last year, causing serious harm.
She denied a more serious allegation of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and Mr Paul Grumbar, prosecuting, said her plea has been accepted by the Crown.
Judge David Evans adjourned her case at Exeter Crown Court for four weeks and ordered a probation pre-sentence report. He released her on bail but told her that all sentencing options will be open to the sentencing judge.
