A woman was 'abused and spat at' by another female customer outside Exmouth's Tesco superstore, police said.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened at about 5.40pm on Monday, July 8 at the pickup point at the Tesco supermarket in Salterton Road.
it was reported that two women became involved in an argument near the cash machines, when the victim accidentally pushed her car door into the suspect, who verbally abused her and spat at her approximately five times.
Anybody who witnessed the incident or who has information is asked to call police on 101 or provide details via the website, quoting crime reference 50240159918
