There was a good turnout of people at Exmouth Strand for Organ Donor and Transplant Awareness Day on Saturday, July 27.
Fine weather brought out plenty of people to browse around the stalls and stands, listen to live music and find out more about organ donation - with the chance to sign up on the spot.
Local businesses, charities and community organisations took part in the event organised by Steve Gazzard, whose daughter Sarah died in 2012 while awaiting a double lung transplant. Since then he has been working to raise awareness of organ donation and to raise funds for a research programme set up in Sarah's name.
Exmouth Museum and Heritage Centre was among the local organisations that had a stand at the event. Steve Gazzard is a Trustee of the museum.
The stand attracted plenty of visitors and raised £87 for museum funds through games and the sale of merchandise.
