Exmouth's Halifax Bank closes down this week.
The bank in the Magnolia Centre will shut its doors on Wednesday, August 7, leaving customers facing a journey to Exeter to visit the nearest alternative branch.
The closure was announced in March this year. At the time the Halifax said a Community Banker would visit Exmouth regularly to help with face-to-face banking matters, with full details to be announced nearer the time.
However, the Halifax company website still lists the Exmouth community banker as 'coming soon', with no further information on dates and times of their visits.
Exmouth still has branches of Nationwide, Santander and TSB in the town centre.
