A man from Exmouth has died after taking the synthetic substance Spice while living in a homeless hostel in Exeter.
Sam Tigwell, aged 33, lost consciousness while living at Gabriel House in Smythen Street, and was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital on July 29th where he died on August 4.
An Exeter inquest was opened into his death and was told he died after ingesting Spice, alcohol and other drugs.
A full inquest will be held at a later date.
