A charity concert will be held to raise funds for a playground.
The Songwriters' Circle Concert, featuring musicians Greg Hancock and Mark Waistell, will take place at Otterton Village Hall on Saturday, August 31, at 7.30pm.
The free concert aims to support the Otterton Jubilee Playground, which was in disrepair before a village working group took action.
Mr Waistell, a resident of Otterton, said: "The children are the lifeblood of any community and a promise of the future.
"As the saying goes, 'it takes a village to raise a child' and that is exactly what this village is doing for all its children."
People can attend the concert for free but are encouraged to donate.
Tickets can be reserved at the Otterton Community Shop, by emailing mark@markwaistell.com, or at the door on the night.
