The former Central Convenience Store on St Andrews Road has re-opened as a Premier Store.

The store opened on Friday (September 20) and offers Premier branded stock selling everything you need quickly. 

The Central store closed just after the Covid-19 pandemic and lay dormant ever since, the store has been renovated and stocked with Premier stock. The store is now open to customers under a new name.

The store also has a coffee and slushie machine, as well as drinks, food, snacks and everything people need quickly.

Owner Kumal Patel said: "We are now officially open, I am very lucky to own a shop and live so close to the sea. I can enjoy the sun and walk along the beach on my lunch break. It is lovely. We hope to be here serving customers for a long time. Everyone has been very friendly to us and I am surprised by the amount of support and interest we have had from residents of St Andrews Road. Being so close to the beach we are a corner shop for residents, as well as beach goers."
