A memory café is celebrating 20 years of supporting people with dementia.
The Exmouth Courtney Memory Café, which depends on donations and fundraising, marked its milestone with a special event.
The café, run entirely by volunteers, offers monthly gatherings for people with dementia and their carers, complete with entertainment and refreshments.
To commemorate the anniversary, the café organised a bake sale, aiming to fund an additional outing for its members.
Elaine Turner, the café's treasurer highlighted the importance of the café as a "lifeline of support" for those affected by dementia.
The café has been recognised by the Devon Memory Café Consortium for its quality service.
A community amateur sports club, whose members often have personal connections to dementia, hosted the bake sale.
The club expressed its eagerness to support charities, acknowledging the vital role the café plays in the community.
