A care home resident has been presented with a finished artwork.
Olive, a resident at Raleigh Manor care home in Exmouth, participated in the Mindflow project led by artist Paul Stretton-Stephens.
The project aims to challenge public perceptions of the arts within the dementia community, promoting the idea that creativity remains vibrant in individuals living with dementia.
The finished artworks will raise funds for the National Brain Appeal.
Paul recently presented Olive's piece to her, much to the admiration of the care home residents and staff.
Gill Pratt, general manager of Raleigh Manor, said: "We are all so very proud of Olive’s achievement.
"It is beautiful.
"We think Paul’s project is absolutely brilliant so when he invited us to bring a resident to participate, we were delighted."
"We will also be selling the cards and calendars to raise funds for the National Brain Appeal."
Raleigh Manor provides residential and dementia care including respite and long-term stays.
