Budleigh Salterton Carnival Club have come away from Sidmouth Carnival with a number of awards for their show.
Sidmouth Carnival took place on Saturday (September 28), and hundreds lined the procession route through Sidmouth to see the many colourful acts and displays involved.

Budleigh won Class 5 Open Floats 30ft and Under: 1st Pure Imagination – Budleigh Salterton CC. And Class 6 East Devon Royalty: 1st Honiton Royalty, 2nd Under The Sea – Budleigh Salterton Royalty.
Holly Phillips, chair of the Carnival Committee, said: "The carnival committee would like to express our thanks the the many local groups that returned to this year's carnival.
It was fantastic to see all the children having a good time in there creative costumes. With the 1000s that came and lined the streets it really gave a boost to the committee to have so many if you coming up and expressing your thanks for keeping this long-standing tradition in Sidmouth going. Also a big thank you to the many businesses this year that have got behind our carnival program with sponsorship.
