Budleigh's illuminated carnival procession took place on Saturday (October 5).
From 7.30pm on October 5, the roads were closed around the course, and acts lined up by Seachange before making their way past the seafront and into town, then back round to finish where they started.
Acts included the Exeter Starlites, Sid Vale Carnival Club, Honiton's Young Farmers, a giant illuminated dragon, a dancing pirate, Budleigh Carnival Club's Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory-inspired float, Budleigh Carnival's royalty float.
Mike and Lizzie Hillier, organiser of the carnival said: "Thank you to everyone who came to support us on Saturday, and thank you to our marshalls who made the event possible by collecting donations and closing the roads.
"Amazing night at Budleigh Salterton Carnival tonight we got first in class and best local! Thank you to everyone who attended and created such a lovely atmosphere in the town cheering the procession along and well done to all entrants you were all fabulous."
The donation page is still open if people want to donate to help keep the carnival running. https://pay.sumup.com/b2c/QWFZ4BQ1
