Exmouth Men's Shed is set to host an open day and woodworking craft fair.
The event will be held on Saturday, October 19, from 10am to 2pm at Clayton House, 146 Salterton Road, Exmouth.
The open day will feature a woodworking craft fair, with handmade items by members of the Shed available for sale.
These include wooden toys, furniture, and home décor.
Members, referred to as Shedders, will be demonstrating woodworking techniques and discussing various Shed activities and projects.
Attendees will also have the chance to tour the workshop.
Light refreshments, including homemade cakes, will be available.
Exmouth Men's Shed operates as part of a global initiative to foster camaraderie among men in a supportive environment.
The Shed provides a space for members to engage in projects, share skills, and socialise, contributing to the community.
The Shed’s activities, such as woodworking and furniture restoration, aim to alleviate social isolation and enhance well-being.
Entry to the open day is free, although donations are welcome.
The event presents an opportunity for those interested in joining the Shed or supporting craftsmanship to engage with the community.
