Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club is urging people not to suffer in silence.
The club is highlighting the importance of discussing mental health.
On Saturday, the club will embark on the Dawn Walk, a 5km route starting at 7am, to raise funds for The Samaritans.
The walk will conclude with breakfast at the clubhouse.
The club is also launching its first curry night on Thursday, providing a relaxed setting for men to gather during the autumn and winter months.
Both initiatives aim to dismantle the stigma surrounding men's mental health.
Club volunteer, Emma Cooling, said: "Sadly, many of us will know someone who has taken their own life and statistically that person is much more likely to be male.
"We can't change anything overnight but these events are a gentle step in the right direction of encouraging men to feel able to speak up if they are struggling.
"Saturday’s walk is about standing in solidarity with those who have endured tough times and of course about raising money for the Samaritans to make sure there is always someone at the end of the phone for those in need."
The club welcomes everyone to join the breakfast at 8am on Saturday and the curry night from 7pm on Thursday.
