Business owner and former Royal Marine Paul Collinson has set himself the challenge of completing 100 push-ups a day throughout October, to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Mr Collinson (60) is also a powerlifter, who has recently capped off a successful lifting season today when he received official notification of his World Record.
To summarise, he rebuilt his bench technique to negate strength loss through age and got Synergy Barbell to program my training. This all culminated in him winning the British, European, and World Championships for my age and weight.
Setting new British/European and World records his next challenge is completing 100 push-ups every day this October to help raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Paul Collinson has set up a fundraising page, where as from today (Thursday October 10) he has raised £220.00, 73 percent of his target of £300.
Paul said: "Thanks for visiting. I’m doing 100 push ups every day this October to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Please show your support and help fund life-saving research by donating any amount to my page, it all makes a difference.
"I am enjoying it so far, but I'm sure by day ten, I will be sore and questioning his life choices but I will crack on to provide funds to support research into this horrible disease."
You can donate to Paul Collinson fundraiser via the Cancer Research UK website.
