Exmouth Rotary is calling on young people to enter its annual competitions.
The contests, organised by Rotary clubs across the UK, offer young people the chance to showcase their skills in various categories.
The Exmouth club is particularly keen on encouraging entries in the Young Photographer, Young Artist, Young Writer, and Young Musician competitions.
The club has a track record of success in these contests, having previously seen a young writer reach the district final, a national winner in the photography category, and an exhibition of photographic entries held at Exmouth Library.
The competitions are divided into three age groups: 7-10, 11-13, and 14-17, based on ages on August 31, 2024, and are open to individuals who are 17 or under.
The theme for this year's photography, art, and short story categories is the Wonder of Water.
Participants can be from formal schools, home-educated, or part of community youth organisations such as Scouts, Girl Guides, RotaKids, and Interact.
The competitions start at club level, with winners progressing to district competitions, and subsequently to national finals.
The Young Musician competition requires physical attendance, while the Young Photographer, Young Artist, and Young Writer categories involve submission of materials to a central venue.
