Owner of Spoken, George Nightingale on Exmouth Strand has announced the schedule for the 2024 Exmouth Christmas Market.

Last year, Mr Nightingale bought the Christmas Market back after a hiatus of six years in 2023. The 2024 village promises to have 'absolutely everything.'

A market, an event space, a New Year celebration, comedy shows, a meeting place for a warming drink and a community space where all manner of events take place. 

The village is split into two sections - ’The Christmas Market’ and ‘Events'

Starting on December 13 the Christmas Market will run until December 17. It is a free-to-attend Christmas Market where 80+ independent and hand-selected businesses will showcase their products undercover.

Now in its second year, Mr Nightingale says: "Exmouth and East Devon has a focal point for Christmas activities where  music, laughter and good times can be had."

‘The Jingle Inn’ is a new addition to the market where you can sit and soak up the atmosphere of Christmas in the warm and dry while sipping on a hot mulled drink, or cocktail, from a selection of local suppliers.

Throughout the day and into the evenings there will be entertainment and live music acts, Friday 13 from 7pm - close EL Barco DJ, Saturday 14th - 4pm LaLa Choir, 7pm - close Video DJ Danny, Sunday 15th - 12pm Exmouth Town concert band, Tuesday 17th - 2pm Exmouth deaf academy

18th December 12 - 4 A community showcase where community groups from across the district will be showcasing what they do and how you can get involved. There will be something for all ages.

18th December 5 - 7pm A children’s silent disco.

18th December 8pm - 10pm. Adults silent disco with live DJ.

19th December 8pm - 10pm Christmas quiz and karaoke in The Jingle Inn all in aid of Exmouth Friends In Need (EFIN).

20th December Comedy night with celebrities from 8 out of 10 cats and Live at The Apollo

21st December Christmas Carribean Party. With the headliner of A-Skills, Victor Vector and other acts.

22nd December Magnificent Buble is the UK’s finest authentic Michael Bublé theatre tribute show with a 12-piece big band, fronted by top vocalist James Billington.

23rd December Christmas encounters with the Church. With over 17 churches and associations in attendance including donkeys.
