Six gold Food Drink Devon awards have been scooped up by food producers at East Devon's popular Budleigh Salterton Food Market & Crafts.
The market, which is held every month at Budleigh Salterton's Public Hall now boasts a large number of award-winners demonstrating the high quality of locally produced food.
Barbers Bean to Bar, purveyors of handmade artisan chocolate and tea, won gold for their mocha milk chocolate, peppermint cocoa tea and Ugandan hot chocolate.
"Thank you to everyone who helped make these awards possible. We believe in using eco-friendly and ethically sourced products, that also taste amazing. Winning these awards is testament to our core values."
Curworthy Cheese, winners of Best Dairy Produce in Show at Devon County Show 2023, won gold awards for their Devon Maid, Haytor and Devon Smoake handmade cheeses.
"We are delighted to receive such wonderful recognition of our favourite products. It is lovely that the judges enjoyed them as much as we do."
Jenifer Tucker, market organiser said: "These awards are a credit to them both and our shoppers will be excited to find out they have won.
"The market has gone from strength to strength over the past couple of years. Now displaying more than 30 stallholders, all selling locally-made produce and crafts.
"Come along and see for yourselves. Being independent traders, you will get the highest quality and taste at very affordable prices."
Budleigh Salterton Food Market & Crafts is an indoor market held in the Public Hall, Station Road on the last Friday of the month from 9am-1pm.
Free entry. Free parking. On main bus routes 157 and 357. Stops directly outside the Public Hall.
