A newly refurbished GO Outdoors store opened for business in Exeter with a grand store opening over the weekend.
It took place on Saturday, October 26, and customers were invited to secure gift cards and goody bags to join in on the celebration.
Lord Mayor, Councillor Kevin Mitchell joined Store Manager Andrew Pollard for the ribbon-cutting ceremony in front of an eager crowd.
Andrew Pollard, store manager said at the opening: “We had a great day celebrating the newly refurbished Exeter store and look forward to welcoming even more visitors. Whether you visited the old store, or this is your first time, we hope customers will be impressed by the extensive range of products stocked.”
The newly refurbished store stocks a wide range of brands, such as Rab, OEX and Berghaus, as well as trusted brands like Peter Storm, Regatta and Hi-Gear.
The store also offers bike repair services, rucksack fittings and boot fittings.
GO Outdoors Exeter has refurbished the Naylors and Fishing Republic Lite concessions, enabling customers to pick up specialist equipment for equestrian and angling activities alike.
The store’s Bike365 concession supplies a range of bikes, accessories and servicing support, bringing the best cycling brands and knowledge to customers.
The 24,600 sq ft store employs a team of 38, with six new recruits.
To celebrate the store’s new look, GO Outdoors Exeter is offering 15% off for customers from October 22 until November 4.
