The RS 200 nationals sailing competition being held at Exe Sailing Club this year, from August 15 - 19.
This is a large event with c120 boats sailing in Lyme Bay for five days in the area just off the bar between the “Clear Water” mark off Exmouth Beach and the Warren.
There will be in-excess of 240 visitors to Exmouth for the week and this is the 25th anniversary of the boat, which was designed in 1986 by Phil Morrison, who is a resident of the town and there is understandably great excitement at the club.
The event will see prizes for Gold, Silver and Bronze fleets, first lady helm, first youth, first master and many others.
A full announcement will be made soon on social events, which will include buddy quiz, youth karaoke, BI Ugly mystery fancy dress party and of course the final night Championship Dinner.
