East Budleigh ‘B’ top the latest Exmouth Snooker League table after round six of fixtures played so far.
They suffered just one defeat, at the hands of Steve Vittles 45-30, Barry Bentley 57-37 and Mark Auton 67-51 of East Budleigh ‘A’, having led through Stuart Laws 61-28 and David Freer 60-60. They then inflicted another whitewash on defending champions, Police Social Club ‘A’ with David Freer 59-32, Jamie Gulliford 51-29, Mervyn Long 65-40 and Duane Greenslade 67-29 and 71-44.
Police ‘D’ are second, despite losing to Mike Delahaye 67-48, Carl Rowsell 68-34, Rob Pow 43-31, George Webster 71-68 of the Police ‘A’. But, they reversed this score, as Iain Callander 87-81, Craig Wilson 71-40, Kevin Proctor 77-40 and Dave Lance 72-49 triumphed over the Police ‘B’.
Police ‘B’ recorded their first win as Terry Merrick 65-31, Dave Thomas 60-47 and David Binmore 47-22 led the Police ‘C’ before dropping the final two frames to Bob Alexander 55-28 and Terry Brown 43-42.
Police ‘C’ trailed Bert Savage 69-38 and Harry Savage 32-24 of East Budleigh ‘A’ after three frames, but came through for their second victory with Terry Brown 57-47, Bob Alexander 73-26 and John Parrott 49-37.
