Exmouth Quins returned to the pitch for a cracking encounter with Devonport Services 2nd Team. Although the home side had played 25 minutes of an abandoned match recently, they took a little time to warm to the task.
Services led 5-7 at half time, however Rich Cadywould orchestrated the bounce back with five tries from himself, plus Liam Bayley, Martin Westaway, Freddie Bungard and Erin Inglis dotting down. A bonus point win of 36-12 for the Quins and the foundation of the game was built from a lively pack and well marshalled back line.
The Cockles have first-team and Quins games at home on Saturday, February 4. Both games kick-off at 2pm against Old Centralians and South Molton respectively. Get on down to the Recreation Ground for a great afternoon of local rugby, as well as a warm welcome from the hospitality crew serving hot food and drinks.
