After Saturday's game at Raleigh Park, Withycombe RFC were presented a certificate from the Exmouth RNLI following a fundraiser was held during Withy's home league game against neighbours Exmouth Quins back in November.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of all those that donated, Withy managed to raise £200 for the Exmouth RNLI to help support their invaluable work.
The day itself was a huge success, with a packed Raleigh Park playing host to a Past Players afternoon for players of both Withycombe and Exmouth, as well as a 2nd XV game against Topsham III and then the main event.
Withycombe Vs. Exmouth Quins in the league... a game which resulted in a 15-0 win for Withy and the initial bragging rights ahead of the return fixture, which is coming up on February 18.
Thank you once again to everyone and we look forward to doing something similar again soon.
