A new era is underway at Topsham Town Football Club after the departure of Chris Clarke from the Devon Football League outfit.
A club statement said: “It’s with sadness we announce that Chris Clarke has took the decision to stand down as Topsham manager. Everyone at the club would like to thank Clarkey for all he’s done at the club and the effort he has put in over the last few months, we wish him all the best.
“Stepping up to the job until the end of the season is our own James Skinner and Ryan Saunders to keep all the boys together and to try finish the season on a high. It would be massively appreciated to get all the support and help we can for the remaining games of the season.”
Skinner began his time as joint-boss with the goal that earned Topsham an impressive 1-1 draw with Exeter University.
