Phear Park Bowls Club is enjoying another super summer on the greens and there was great enthusiasm for a recent internal competition, as players competed for the Dick Mann Bowls Trophy.
As the picture shows, it was a terrific day for everyone, as club members congratulated winners Mike Killoran, Rod Davidson and Mo Bond, who were awarded the shield by Club Captain Bryan Stone.
Phear Park Bowls Club is situated within a large park in the centre of Exmouth and a beautiful setting for a beautiful game. Bowlers at Phear Park have been rolling the jack since 1911 and new members are always welcome at the historic club.
Their extensive website (www.phearparkbowlingclub.co.uk) is packed with information on club competitions, opportunities for bowling tours, membership and registration details, and a whole lot more. Have a look around and pop down to Phear Park for a taste of the action.
