Exeter City are top of Sky Bet League One after securing a deserved 1-0 victory at Burton Albion on Saturday.
Brentford loanee Ryan Trevitt scored the only goal of the game 15 minutes from time, cutting in from the left wing to rifle an unstoppable drive into the bottom corner. It was a fabulous strike, deserving of winning any game.
The Grecians needed a top save from Viljami Sinisalo to remain level at the break but the general pattern of the game saw Exeter creating the better chances, and Burton frustrations boiled over with a late red card for Steve Seddon.
Plymouth Argyle, meanwhile, picked up their second win of the Championship season, overpowering Blackburn 3-0 at Home Park. A deflected strike from Finn Azaz gave the Pilgrims a half-time lead before Ryan Hardie and substitute Luke Cundle rounded off a polished performance for Argyle.
