Exmouth Town travel to North Somerset this Saturday for what has already become a crunch match in their Southern League season, writes John Dibsdall.
Town are five points adrift of Paulton Rovers at the bottom of the table in the Southern League Division One South, Paulton are their nearest rivals and have two games in hand.
Last season, Town won their home match 2-0 with goals from Levi Landricombe and Jordan Harris but lost the away game 1-0.
Town, without a fixture last week, will be looking to build on their recent performances against Frome Town and Cribbs FC where in both games they were defeated by the odd goal against sides competing at the top of the table having taken the lead in both matches.
Like the majority of the matches last Saturday, Paulton’s planned game at Evesham was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
