Exmouth United U11s won the league unbeaten after hitting Lympstone for five.
This victory demonstrated the immense progress they have made since their inception over 5 years ago.
The team, sponsored and started by Aaron Hewart of Hewart Electrical in October 2018, weathered the adversities of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Despite initial struggles, where they found themselves on the back foot to multiple losses, their resilience and hard work have culminated in a league winning performance this season.
The U11s' undefeated run included 17 victories and a solitary draw.
Throughout the season, they have placed an appealing style of football noticeable across their extensive list of wins.
The team reached over 50 points, consistently playing as a unit with each player giving their all.
Speaking on their successful season, manager Aaron Hewart said: "Very proud of what the lads have achieved starting from the very basics struggling to get out of the own half five years ago, to now playing a very high and attractive style and standard of football."
Having marked their spot as champions, the team now faces a new challenge as they prepare to move up to League 1 next season.
Appreciation was also extended to the coaches, Adam, Gareth and Nick, who, along with Aaron, have donated their time and skills into developing this inspiring team.
Parents and supporters alike celebrate the achievements of the Exmouth United U11s Red Sox, commend their efforts and look forward to their future in football.
