Kevin McLean, Sue Harriott and Nick Cole have repeated their victories from 2023 at the Madeira Bowling Club's Finals.
The event, which took place on August 31 and September 1, attracted a host of spectators, who, in addition to bearing witness to some outstanding bowling, enjoyed an array of snacks and meals courtesy of volunteering members.
It was not only McLean, Harriott and Cole who shone on the greens - Paul Hewitt and Debbie Cole left their mark by winning in both competitions they participated in, while Ann Maloney scooped victories in two of her three matches.
The schedule was organised by competition secretary Brian Poulter and the trophies were presented by president Mary Ann Dowrick.
In the Men's competitions, aside from Kevin McLean's Championship win and Nick Cole's Two Wood Singles victory, Paul Hewitt shone by winning Axon Cup and Hunter Cup matches.
The Men's Pairs competitions were postponed and are to be rescheduled.
In the Ladies' sphere, aside from Sue Harriott's Championship victory, it was Ann Maloney who stole the show by winning the Ladies Pairs alongside Brenda Marks and capturing the Madeira Cup trophy.
Debbie Cole triumphed in the Two Wood Singles and Three Wood Singles categories, while Gloria Taylor and Sue Harriott were the winners of the Blackmore Cup and Handicap categories respectively.
The Mixed competitions also heralded engrossing matches, with Cliff Skinner securing the Ashby Crane Cup, while the duo of Jenny Smith & Ken Roberts bagged the win for mixed pairs.
