Exmouth United Girls Under 12s thrashed Exeter Central in the first round of the league cup with an 11-1 victory.
After a slow start Central broke away on the attack and neatly slotted the ball home.
This was enough to wake up the Exmouth girls who immediately responded with a goal from Emma Ward utilising her pace down the wing.
Poppy Osborne then netted a goal from a Molly Lowe corner, before Molly herself scored to make it 3-1 at half-time.
United began the second half energetically, with Poppy scoring a volley, followed by Molly's second.
Poppy completed her hat-trick with a team goal initiated by Lydia Empson.
Substitute Amelia Petherick made an immediate impact in midfield, scoring two goals.
Molly completed her hat-trick, cutting inside and neatly slotting the ball into the bottom corner.
Amelia then matched Molly's feat, with a run and a long-range chip, securing her own hat-trick.
Molly rounded off the match with her fourth goal, finalising the score at 11-1.
United now advance to the second round.
Emma Ward was named player of the match.
